Highland cattle are the oldest registered breed in the world, this farm tour gives you the chance to connect with these gentle giants in their own environment and to witness the magnificent horns and long hair they are affectionately known for. It is an unforgettable way to bond with nature and the charm of highlands up close.
We have three types of tours available, each offering an authentic farm experience.

Meet the Coos
A 60 minute relaxed small-group Highland cattle experience Step into the paddock and experience the magic of Highland cattle in their natural environment. Our Meet the Coos experience is perfect for those wanting to connect with these beautiful animals while learning about their unique personalities, history and remarkable traits. As we stroll through the farm, you’ll meet members of our fold, discover what makes each of them special, and gain an insight into why Highland cattle have captured hearts around the world. Every visit is different because every day on the farm is different. Some days the cattle are eager for scratches and attention, while other days they’re happily grazing or interacting with each other. We believe there’s something truly special about experiencing them exactly as they are. This 60 minute experience includes plenty of opportunities for photographs, asking questions, and immersing yourself in the peaceful beauty of farm life. Experience includes: ● 60 minute guided farm tour. ● Depending on the weather we will either walk into the paddocks or use 6 seater ATV's. ● Meet our herd sire, breeding cows and heifers in their natural environment. ● Learn about their history, personalities and behaviour. ● Meet and cuddle our calves, dependant on the time of year you visit. ● After the tour browse our Highland gift shop full of popular highland brands. ● Allow 90 minutes on the farm.

An exclusive 90 minute Highland View Farm experience designed just for you. This private tour offers a more personal and flexible way to experience life on our working Highland cattle farm. With your own dedicated guide, you’ll explore the property, meet our Highland cattle, hear the stories behind the fold, and learn about the care, breeding and management of this remarkable heritage breed. No two visits are ever the same. As a working farm, each day brings something different, and the experience naturally follows the rhythm of the cattle and the season. Whether the fold is grazing peacefully, curious to meet visitors or simply enjoying the day, you’ll experience genuine farm life exactly as it unfolds. The choice is yours! Would you like to spend more time with either the young heifers or breeding cows with calves? as this is a private tour we can customise it for you. Ideal for couples, friends and special occasions, this experience offers a relaxed and memorable way to connect with the countryside and our much-loved Highland cattle. A Day on the Farm
Go beyond the tour and experience life as a Highland cattle breeder. Ever wondered what it’s really like to own Highland cattle? This immersive behind-the-scenes experience invites you to step into the boots of a Highland cattle breeder and discover what goes into caring for these incredible animals every day. Working alongside us, you’ll gain a genuine insight into the daily routines of managing a working cattle property. Depending on the season and what’s happening on the farm, you may help prepare feed, check the herd, learn about breeding and genetics, observe cattle handling, maintain paddocks, or assist with a variety of everyday farm jobs. Because every day on the farm is different, no two experiences are ever the same. You’ll see firsthand that farming is rewarding, challenging, unpredictable and deeply connected to the seasons and the animals themselves. If you’ve ever dreamed of owning Highland cattle, or simply want to experience authentic farm life beyond a standard tour, this is the ultimate Highland View Farm experience. DO I NEED TO BOOK A TOUR TO VISIT THE FARM? Yes, Highland View Farm is a private working farm and all visits are by prior booking only. We are often busy with daily farm operations and are not always available to accommodate unannounced visitors. To ensure a personalised and safe experience, please secure your booking in advance
ARE THE TOURS SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN? While we warmly welcome families to enjoy the Highland Farm Experience, we don't recommend it for under 12 years of age. If you would like to include your children we kindly remind all guests that full responsibility for the care and supervision of children remains with their parent or guardian at all times during the visit. A parent or guardian must agree to take full duty of care on the booking agreement form before the tour. As this is a working farm with animals and rural terrain, your vigilance ensures a safe and enjoyable experience.
I HAVE A VOUCHER, HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING? Please contact me with your preferred date, time, voucher number, your name and phone number and I will make the booking for you.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Wear enclosed shoes. We recommend you check the weather forecast and dress to conditions as we will spend most of our time out in the paddocks. In winter the paddocks are wet and we recommend wet weather clothing and rubber boots. In early/mid summer the paddocks have long dry grass and we recommend long pants, enclosed shoes and a hat.
DO YOU TAKE GROUP BOOKINGS? Yes, our Meet the Coos experience is designed for groups. Please contact me via to form at the bottom of this page if you would like to have more than 6 people in your group.
I HAVE A DISABILITY, ARE THE TOURS SUITABLE FOR ME? Please contact us to discuss your needs. We have a viewing deck with wheel chair access but currently no disability toilet. Unfortunately our paddocks are not suitable for wheelchairs due to the terrain and sand.

DO YOU HAVE A FARM SHOP? We have a gift shop that is open to guests of our farm experiences. Our gift shop can be accessed online and we offer postage.
